Branfisa & Dulevo: a beginning in style
At the end of 2009, Dulevo and Comercial y Industial Branfisa S.A. - a leading company in the cleaning sector in Peru - have further strengthened their commercial relationships, thus fixing the foundations for the development and the penetration of the Dulevo brand in the Peruvian market. Last November, Piero Sacco (Area Manager for the African continent) and Riccardo De Luca, from the Dulevo After Sales Service, were in Africa for the first official launch of the Dulevo products. First day of school for Hydro Power
At the end of September, Marco Bardini (Hydro Power Technical Assistance Superintendent) held the first technical training course on the Hydro Power floorwashers, which took place at the headquarters of the dealer Cardina in Saragossa in the presence of technicians, commercial employees and a group of managers from all over Spain.

Sweepers, Koalas and Kangaroos
The first two containers left Parma for Australia last November: They mainly carried street cleaning machines and spare parts. Four months after the joint venture agreement between Dulevo International and Australian Sweeping Company was signed (for more information on this issue, see Dulevo News 08.2009), on the 2nd of April the first four containers - containing exclusively industrial machines and scrubberdryers - left the shipment department of the Fontanellato plant.

Born in Mexico, Italian DNA
Together with other goods, the containers were transporting two completed frames, one unfinished and another still to be assembled. Nothing had been said about them then, in view of the impressive new challenge that was about to start the details had been kept under wraps, but now – almost nine months from shipping those materials, Dulevo Mexico is proud to present the first frame made wholly with Mexican structural work.

On Friday 13th February, in the presence of over 200 guests from all over Mexico and South America, Dulevo opened the doors of its new factory.
A lavish reception during which the 5000 was the undisputed belle of the ball.
A fine result. But only thanks to you.
It started as a game. Quite by chance. The idea that children could help other children. It first developed into a project, and then into a roaring success. Above all it turned into a marvellous gift for a group of children who now have more reason to smile. Thanks to the valuable contribution of all of its employees and many of its dealers, suppliers and friends, Dulevo has managed to make a dream come true. And what a dream!

5000 Zero queen of France
The first, held in Paris from 24-26 November, was the Salon des Maires, an exhibition entirely dedicated to municipalities, which saw the direct participation of our French branch office, Dulevo France; the following week, from 2-5 December, the 23rd edition of Pollutec, the most important international trade fair for the equipment, technology and environmental services market was held in Lyon, confirming its supremacy as the world’s leading event.

Dulevo enchants Singapore
The last of the six 5000 Veloce ordered by VEOLIA Group, world leader for the services supporting the environment, has left the plant in Fontanellato heading towards Singapore. The tender, won thanks to the constancy and collaboration of our local area, the company KLENCO Pte, represents a great result that is even more obvious if we consider the difficulty of the Asian market and the meticulousness with which Veolia examines each vehicle that is being purchased.

The Brennero orange has turned into red and blue
Even the motorway is now a cleaner place thanks to Dulevo. On 27 February the company was awarded the contract to supply 22 road-sweepers for motorway service area cleaning. The 22 machines will be stationed in each of the service areas present along the stretch of the A22 Brennero which extends from Modena Nord to Vipiteno. In spite of its extreme complexity and detail, the Brennero tender was without doubt awarded to the best machine from both a technical and commercial point of view.

Working away
May was a month of great effort and reward for all Dulevo’s staff and dealers. Being present simultaneously at both ISSA/INTERCLEAN in Amsterdam and IFAT in Munich, Dulevo divided its strengths and energies for presenting the Hydro Power and International jewels. In Amsterdam Dulevo presented the new scrubbers H1020-H1220 and in Munich the new 5000 Zero, the first CNG-powered hydrostatic sweeper in the world.
